PC shooters on the marketplace: Steam keys, editions and regions
Shooters are one of the broadest genres on the marketplace: from story-driven action and classic remakes to online tactical simulators and sniper games. They reach you in different ways. Most often an activation key that you enter yourself via “Activate a Product on Steam”. Less commonly a Steam gift, where a bot sends the game to your profile (covered in our guide on software from Steam as gifts). Some Xbox lots are an activation the seller performs on your account. The listings differ in edition, account region and whether each player needs their own copy for co-op. Below are more than two dozen listings sorted by the type of shooter.
Story and solo shooters
DOOM Eternal is id Software’s fast-paced shooter about the Doom Slayer against demon hordes. The options offer three variants: the base game, the Deluxe Edition (game + Year One Pass with The Ancient Gods expansions, the Demonic Slayer skin and classic weapon sounds), and the Year One Pass on its own — DLC only, without the base game. Region — Russia and CIS; format — a Steam key.
Metro Exodus / Gold Edition is 4A Games’ story-driven shooter based on Dmitry Glukhovsky’s novels: Artyom’s journey across post-apocalyptic Russia. The options offer the standard edition and the Gold Edition with two expansions (Sam’s Story and The Two Colonels). Steam key; region — Russia, Ukraine and CIS, with full Russian localization.
Duke Nukem Forever is a brash first-person shooter by Gearbox Software with trademark humour. Per the card, this is the standard edition, a Steam activation key, region — Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and other CIS countries; the Russian version only (Western DLC may not install).
RAGE + Sewers is id Software’s post-apocalyptic shooter on the id Tech 5 engine. Per the card it is a Steam key with the Sewers add-on (access to nine abandoned sewer hubs) and Russian voice acting; activation region — Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, other CIS countries and the Baltics.
Black Mesa is a full remake of the original Half-Life on the Source engine: scientist Gordon Freeman’s journey through an alien-overrun research facility with rebuilt levels, visuals and sound. Per the card it is a Steam gift for the Russia region: a bot friends you and delivers the gift (the mechanics are in our guide on software from Steam as gifts).
Shadow Warrior 2 is Flying Wild Hog’s explosive first-person shooter sequel: the warrior Lo Wang blends blade and gunplay against demon hordes across procedurally shifting levels, solo or in co-op for up to four players. Per the card it is a Steam gift for the Russia region; for a co-op run each participant needs their own copy.
Singularity is a sci-fi shooter by Raven Software built around a Time Manipulation Device. Note: per the card this is a Steam gift, not a key — a bot sends the game to your profile (see our guide on software from Steam as gifts). Delivery goes only to Russia-region accounts.
Trepang2 is a fast-paced action shooter with time-slowing and a story campaign. It is a digital key for the US Xbox region: activation requires an Xbox account set to the US region; the format is a key with instant delivery.
Sniper shooters
Sniper Elite: Resistance is a tactical third-person sniper action game in the Sniper Elite series: you plan your approach, pick your positions and take down targets across large World War II levels. Per the card it is a Steam gift (see our guide on software from Steam as gifts); the account region is chosen in the options (Russia, Ukraine and CIS, Kazakhstan, Middle East and North Africa, Latin America, South Asia, the EU, the US) — the chosen region must match your account’s store country.
Bundles: Halo: The Master Chief Collection
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is a large bundle of six Halo games in a single collection. Per the card it is a Steam gift for the Russia region: after payment a bot sends the game as a gift (the mechanics are in our guide on software from Steam as gifts). The gift cannot be saved to inventory or passed on.
Online, tactical and co-op
These games are built primarily for playing with other people, and one detail matters here: for co-op, each participant needs their own copy — a single key or gift does not unlock access for the whole squad.
Hunt: Showdown 1896 is a tactical PvPvE shooter by Crytek. The options offer Standard (the base game) and the Starter Edition (game + 3 DLC: Legends of the Bayou, The Trick Shooter and The Prodigal Daughter). Steam key, region — Russia and worldwide; the game is online.
Squad is a team-based military shooter on large-scale maps: up to 100 players, focused on coordination. A single Steam activation key; the region is not singled out on the card, so clarify it on the payment page.
GROUND BRANCH is a deliberate tactical shooter with deep loadout customization, with co-op and single-player modes. Per the card it is a Steam gift for the Russia region; for co-op, each player needs their own copy.
Ready or Not is a tactical SWAT shooter with team-based gameplay. It is an activation on your Xbox account (the seller needs the login), with Standard and Digital Deluxe editions available.
Marauders is a tactical looter-shooter (extraction) in a dieselpunk dystopia: raids solo or in co-op for up to four players. Per the card it is a Steam gift for the Russia region.
Starship Troopers: Extermination is a 16-player co-op shooter set in the Starship Troopers universe. Per the card it is a Steam gift for the Russia region.
BattleBit Remastered is a low-poly massive first-person shooter for up to 254 players on a single server: almost fully destructible maps, vehicles and large-scale squad tactics. Per the card it is a Steam gift for the Russia region; to play as a squad each participant needs their own copy.
Tactical team shooters: Rainbow Six Siege X
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege X is Ubisoft’s tactical team shooter with destructible environments and a large operator roster; the side that plans and executes best wins the round. On the marketplace it comes as two editions, both delivered as a Steam gift (a bot friends you and sends the gift), with the account region chosen in the options:
- Rainbow Six Siege X — Elite Edition is the Elite edition with an expanded set of cosmetics and content; the region is chosen from the options (Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, other CIS countries).
- Rainbow Six Siege X — Ultimate Edition is the top-tier Ultimate edition with an even broader content pack; the region is likewise chosen in the options (Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, other CIS countries).
The game is online: for co-op each participant needs their own copy. The difference between editions is the amount of bundled content: Elite is the expanded set, Ultimate is the fullest; the exact contents are listed on the game’s Steam page.
Modern-warfare RTS with direct control: Call to Arms
Call to Arms — Ultimate Edition is not a shooter but a real-time strategy set in modern warfare: you command units from a top-down view, or take direct first- or third-person control of a single soldier and vehicles. We include it here as an adjacent military title with multiplayer. Per the card it is a Steam gift for the Russia region; for co-op each participant needs their own copy.
Call of Duty classics: Black Ops and Modern Warfare III
Call of Duty: Black Ops by Treyarch (2010) is a shooter about covert Cold War operations: campaign, multiplayer and the Zombies mode. On the marketplace this comes as two different listings, and they are easy to confuse:
- Call of Duty: Black Ops — Steam key (Russia, CIS, Baltics) is a regional key with a strictly defined region (Russia, CIS, Baltics) and Russian only.
- Call of Duty: Black Ops (2010) — Steam activation key is a classic activation key for which the seller does not state the region; it must be clarified on the checkout page.
Both are the same game; the first has a fixed region and Russian language, while the second’s region must be checked separately.
Beyond the Black Ops classics, the series has a recent title:
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (2023) is a first-person shooter by Sledgehammer Games, the direct sequel to Modern Warfare II with a campaign following Task Force 141. Per the card it is a Steam gift with a choice of edition (Standard or Vault Edition) and Russian, English and other languages supported. An important region detail: for Russia and Belarus accounts the seller first switches the account region, since the game is not available in those Steam regions; for Kazakhstan, Ukraine, CIS, Turkey, Argentina and the EU the game is gifted right away. Adjacent: WARNO war strategy
WARNO is not a shooter but a real-time war strategy by Eugen Systems about the battles of a hypothetical Third World War; we include it here as an adjacent military title. Per the card it is a Steam gift for the Russia region.

What to check before paying
- Account region. Where a region is set (RU/CIS for DOOM Eternal, RAGE, Duke Nukem; Russia for the Singularity, Halo MCC, GROUND BRANCH, Marauders, Starship Troopers, BattleBit, Black Mesa, Shadow Warrior 2, Call to Arms and WARNO gifts; US for Trepang2), the store country of your account must match it. Where the region is chosen in the options (Sniper Elite: Resistance, both Rainbow Six Siege X editions, Modern Warfare III), pick the variant for your country. Where the region is not stated explicitly (Squad, the classic Black Ops), clarify it on the payment page. For Modern Warfare III on RU/Belarus accounts the seller first switches the account region. The region is a neutral restriction of the item, not a way to “get around” anything.
- Format — key, gift or activation. A key you enter yourself; a gift is sent by a bot to your profile (how it works); Ready or Not is an activation on your Xbox account.
- Edition and options. Standard, Deluxe, Gold, Starter, Digital Deluxe, Vault, Elite, Ultimate — the contents differ. DOOM Eternal’s Year One Pass is DLC only; RAGE includes the Sewers add-on; Halo MCC is a bundle of six games; Rainbow Six Siege X Elite is the expanded set, Ultimate the fullest.
- A copy per player. For co-op in Hunt: Showdown, Squad, GROUND BRANCH, Ready or Not, Marauders, Starship Troopers, BattleBit Remastered, Shadow Warrior 2, both Rainbow Six Siege X editions and Call to Arms, each participant needs their own copy — one key or gift does not cover the whole group.
- Reviews and seller terms. Real activation experience and refund rules are on the product page.
