Prohibited goods and materials
Purpose
Bazelio is a storefront-catalog for digital products. To keep the catalog lawful and safe for users, a number of categories of goods and materials are prohibited from being listed, promoted or linked to via affiliate links. This policy complements the requirements on the For sellers page.
What is prohibited
Prohibited items include, in particular:
- pirated and counterfeit content, unlicensed copies;
- stolen or hacked accounts;
- access or data obtained unlawfully;
- tools to circumvent technical protection measures (DRM) and related instructions;
- malware (viruses, trojans, ransomware, etc.);
- exploits and tools for unauthorized access to systems and accounts;
- phishing and phishing tools;
- spam tools and means of mass abuse;
- personal data and third-party databases, “data-lookup” services;
- fraudulent schemes and knowingly misleading offers;
- unlawful payment and cash-out methods;
- goods and materials that infringe trademarks and copyright without lawful grounds;
- goods and services prohibited by applicable law, including categories restricted by sanctions and export requirements.
This list is not exhaustive and may be extended.
How we enforce this policy
Bazelio reserves the right to:
- reject products and offers that do not meet this policy;
- hide or remove listings that are already published;
- respond to well-founded complaints (see Rightsholder & abuse complaints).
Responsibility of the user and seller
The seller and the user are themselves responsible for complying with applicable law, the rules of payment platforms and services, and regional restrictions on specific digital products.
