Legal
Privacy Policy
Bazelio Privacy Policy — what data is processed, cookies and analytics (Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics; on by default, with opt-out), third-party and affiliate services, retention periods and your rights.
This Policy explains what data Bazelio may process, why, and how you can manage it. We try to collect the minimum data needed to run the Site.
1. Who we are
The Bazelio website (https://bazelio.com) is a catalog and storefront for digital products. Bazelio is an independent project at an early (MVP) stage: it does not yet have a separate legal entity or published company details. For data-related questions, email ivsofte@gmail.com.
2. The short version
- At this stage, Bazelio has no user account and no registration.
- We try to collect the minimum data needed to run the Site.
- We do not claim there is no data at all: any website uses technical mechanisms (for example, hosting logs), and analytics (Yandex Metrica) is on by default — you can turn it off at any time.
- When you follow external and affiliate links, you land on third-party sites with their own privacy policies.
3. What data we may process
3.1. Cookies and local storage
bazelio_lang(first-party, functional, ~1 year) — stores your chosen interface language (ru/en) so we don’t ask again. Technically necessary for the Site.bazelio_consent(first-party, functional, ~180 days) — remembers your refusal of analytics cookies (if you chose it), so Metrica is not enabled again.- Yandex Metrica cookies and identifiers (
_ym_*and others) — analytics; set by default; you can turn them off (see 3.3). - Google Analytics cookies and identifiers (
_ga,_ga_*and others) — analytics; set by default; you can turn them off (see 3.3). - Browser local storage (localStorage). Your chosen theme, your favorites list and recently viewed products are stored locally in your browser and are not sent to our server.
- Other strictly necessary mechanisms may be used for the Site’s basic operation.
You can manage analytics cookies via the “Cookie settings” button in the site footer.
3.2. Server logs
The hosting/CDN that runs the Site may automatically keep technical logs: IP address, browser and device type, request date and time, requested pages. This is typical for web servers and is used for security and diagnostics.
3.3. Analytics — Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics
The Site uses Yandex Metrica (operator — Yandex LLC, Russia; counter ID — 109731368). The counter loads only in the production build and is on by default; you can opt out of analytics at any time (see below).
Metrica may process: IP address, browser and device type, referrer, viewed pages, the fact
of proceeding to purchase (a click on the buy button with technical parameters: product id,
category, seller, price), and technical identifiers (_ym_* cookies). The data is processed
on Yandex’s side under its terms and privacy policy.
For data minimization, the following are intentionally not used: session recording (webvisor), click map (clickmap) and automatic link tracking (trackLinks).
Additionally, the Site uses Google Analytics 4 (operator — Google LLC, USA; property
ID — G-W3GV6J4D1N). GA4 may process anonymized visit data: approximate region (from IP,
without storing the full address), device and browser type, referrer, viewed pages, and
technical cookies _ga/_ga_*. Processing takes place on Google’s side, including on
servers outside Russia and the EU, under Google’s privacy policy. It is enabled and disabled
with the same “Cookie settings” switch as Metrica.
Analytics is on by default; you can opt out at any time via “Cookie settings” in the
footer — your refusal is stored in the bazelio_consent cookie, and after it Metrica stops.
Given the minimized collection (no session recording, click map or trackLinks), we rely on
legitimate interest in understanding Site usage as the legal basis for analytics; where
GDPR applies, you have the right to object — to do so, turn analytics off.
3.4. Support requests
If you contact us (email, Telegram), we receive the data you provide yourself: your contact address and the content of your message. We use it only to reply.
4. Why we process data
- To make the Site work correctly (interface language, navigation, your preferences).
- To maintain security and diagnose technical issues.
- To understand Site usage in anonymized form (if analytics is enabled).
- To answer your requests.
Where GDPR or local law applies: for necessary cookies and technical logs the basis is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Site; for analytics it is our legitimate interest in understanding Site usage (you can opt out, see 3.3).
5. Affiliate and external links
5.1. Bazelio is an affiliate storefront: some links are affiliate links. When you follow an affiliate or other external link, you leave Bazelio.
5.2. Third-party sellers and payment platforms have their own privacy policies and independently process the data you provide to them (for example, at checkout). We do not control their processing and recommend reading their policies.
5.3. Bazelio does not store your payment data: payment is completed on the seller’s or the payment platform’s side, and card/account details do not pass through Bazelio.
5.4. Affiliate links may contain technical referral markers so that the affiliate commission is attributed correctly. This does not pass your personal data to the parties beyond what their own rules provide.
6. Sharing data with third parties
We do not sell your personal data. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers (hosting/CDN, email service) solely to run the Site, and by the analytics services Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics (see 3.3). Data may be disclosed where required by law.
7. Retention
- Technical logs — for a limited period typically used for diagnostics and security, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
- Support correspondence — as long as needed to respond and a reasonable period after.
- Cookies — until they expire or you delete them in your browser.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law (GDPR and others), you may have the right to: request access to your data, its correction or deletion, withdraw consent, restrict processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, write to ivsofte@gmail.com.
9. Managing cookies and data
You can enable or disable analytics cookies via “Cookie settings” in the site footer. Any cookies can be restricted or deleted in your browser settings; data in local storage (theme, favorites) is cleared together with site data in your browser. Disabling strictly necessary cookies (for example, language) may affect how the Site works.
10. Children
The Site is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect children’s data. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will take action.
11. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data (including transfer over HTTPS). However, no method of transmitting or storing data on the internet is completely secure.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy. The current version is on this page; the last update date is shown at the bottom.
