Building and automation
A sub-genre about process for its own sake: you mine resources, build production chains and scale them up.
Factorio is the cult factory-building sim: mining, conveyors, ever more complex items and a defence against the local wildlife. Factorio: Space Age is a DLC, not a standalone game: once you have tamed your home planet you head into space and build interplanetary logistics. It requires the base Factorio in your library to run. Mad Games Tycoon 2 is a tycoon about a game studio: from a 1976 garage to a corporation, with game development, hiring and releasing consoles. Plague Inc: Evolved is a strategy simulation about evolving a pathogen from a single infected host into a global outbreak; per its listing a gift for the Russia region. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Deluxe stands out by format: per the listing it is not a key and not a Steam gift, but an activation through the seller’s Microsoft Store account — the game is shared to your personal Xbox account, with progress and saves kept on it. The Deluxe edition includes all future DLC; it needs an up-to-date Windows 10/11 and the Xbox app. The Drone Racing League Simulator is an FPV drone-racing sim with licensed DRL league tracks; per the listing a Steam gift for the Russia region. Uncrashed: FPV Drone Sim is a realistic FPV drone flight sim with control settings tuned to your real drone’s parameters; also a gift for the Russia region.

What to check before paying
- Activation region. Each offer targets its own country list — a neutral restriction of the item. Match your Steam account’s store region with the region in the listing: the Factorio, Forts, Mad Games Tycoon 2, Plague Inc, Bloons TD 6, Battle Brothers, DRL and Uncrashed gifts target Russia; Songs of Syx and Stoneshard let you pick the region in the options; Schedule I, by contrast, is not available for Russia and Qatar.
- Base game for DLC. Factorio: Space Age is a DLC: it requires the base Factorio to be owned first. Base game first, then the add-on.
- Format: gift, key or activation. Most games here are Steam gifts: a bot friends you and sends the game once you provide your profile link. How a gift works is in our guide on software from Steam. MS Flight Simulator 2024 Deluxe is the exception: it is not Steam but an activation through a Microsoft Store account onto your Xbox profile, with its own requirements (Windows 10/11, the Xbox app).
- Edition. MS Flight Simulator comes in the Deluxe edition with all future DLC. Songs of Syx, Stoneshard and Schedule I offer a region choice in the options, sometimes at different prices — check the option you pick before paying.
