Tinder and Badoo subscriptions: how Plus, Gold, Platinum and Premium differ

Published: 4 min read

Paid dating-app subscriptions remove the limits of the free version and add features such as unlimited likes and a list of people who have already liked you. The Bazelio catalogue has Tinder plans (Plus, Gold and Platinum) and Badoo plans (Premium and Premium Plus). They differ in their feature set and in how they are activated. Let’s work out what to choose.

Tinder: Plus, Gold or Platinum

These are three levels, where each one includes the previous tier’s features:

  • Plus — unlimited likes, rewind (the “undo” swipe), a mode for meeting people in other cities and hidden ads.
  • Gold — everything in Plus, plus a list of who liked you and a selection of top profiles.
  • Platinum — everything in Gold, plus a message attached to a super like and priority likes.

The higher the plan, the more “accelerating” features it has. If you only need unlimited likes and rewind, Plus is enough; if it matters to see who already liked you, that is Gold; the top Platinum level is for priority and messages with super likes.

Badoo Premium and Premium Plus

Badoo Premium / Premium Plus — subscription from 1 month — connected to your existing Badoo account for 1, 3 or 6 months (Premium also has an unlimited option). Premium gives you a view of likes and favourites, incognito mode, undo of an accidental swipe and ad removal; Premium Plus adds chats without a mutual match, a super like and read receipts. The plan is activated manually by the seller after payment.

Self-activation or activation by the seller

Dating plans on the marketplace are delivered in two formats:

  • A promo code or voucher for self-activation — the code arrives at once and you activate the subscription yourself per the card’s instructions.
  • Activation by the seller — you send the seller the order code in the chat, and they connect the plan to your account.

How code-in-the-chat delivery works is covered in the guide “The unique code and the seller chat”.

What to check before paying

  • The plan and term in the chosen option on the card — the feature set differs across Plus, Gold, Platinum and Badoo Premium / Premium Plus.
  • The account state: it should have no active subscription at the moment of activation (a common seller condition).
  • The activation method: self-service via a code or manually by the seller.
  • The regional binding and availability of the service — the conditions are stated on the card of the specific offer; confirm them with the seller in advance.
  • The seller’s reviews on the card — real experience of activations with that particular seller.

Bazelio is a storefront: the seller accepts payment on a payment platform and is responsible for activation and support. Other subscriptions are gathered in the Subscriptions & AI services category, and how buying on a marketplace works in general is in the guide “A marketplace or buying direct”.
