Fighting games on PC: how Steam keys and gifts work
Fighting games are a genre of one-on-one (or team) duels with combos, special moves and signature finishers. Below is a selection of PC fighting games from the catalogue. On the marketplace they are sold in two formats: a licensed Steam key that you enter yourself, and a Steam gift that a bot sends to your account. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate
Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate — a NetherRealm Studios fighter with a cinematic story mode. The Ultimate edition, per the card, includes the base game, the Kombat Pack 1 and 2 bundles and the Aftermath expansion. The format is a Steam key: the code appears in the browser right after payment and is duplicated by email. The activation region is Russia and the CIS (except Ukraine), with Russian localisation.
Mortal Kombat X / XL
Mortal Kombat X / XL — the previous entry in the series with its signature fatalities and character variations. The card options let you choose the base X edition or the expanded XL with extra fighters from the Kombat Pack bundles. The format is a Steam gift, not a key: a bot sends the game automatically, around the clock. The region is Russia.
Injustice 2 Legendary Edition
Injustice 2 Legendary Edition — a fighter set in the DC universe from the makers of Mortal Kombat: a hero gear system, a cinematic campaign and online battles. The Legendary edition, per the card, includes all the downloadable characters — from Hellboy to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles — and extra costumes. The format is a Steam key for the Russia and CIS region, with Russian localisation.
Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker
Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker — a team-based online action game set in the Naruto universe: you create your own ninja, learn characters’ techniques and fight dynamic 4-on-4 battles on three-dimensional arenas. The format is a Steam key for the Russia, Kazakhstan and CIS region.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 HD
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 HD — an anime fighter based on the Shippuden arc: a run through the story’s key events, an updated combat system and spectacular team techniques. The format is a Steam key for the RU/CIS region, with the code delivered automatically after payment.

What to check before paying
- Your Steam account region. The region on the card is a neutral restriction on activating the item. Your Steam account’s region should match it; the country is shown in your account settings.
- Edition. Standard, XL, Ultimate or Legendary — the roster and the included add-ons differ. Compare the chosen option with the description on the game’s Steam page.
- Format — key or gift. A key you enter yourself; a gift you accept into your library (you need a link to your profile and to accept the bot’s friend request). More in the guide “Software from Steam”.
- Online mode. For networked fighters (Shinobi Striker) check server and online availability in your region.
- The seller’s reviews on the card — real experience of activations and delivery with that particular seller.
