Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and wallet top-up: key, shared account, card
Xbox is Microsoft’s ecosystem for consoles and PC. The most sought-after digital goods here are the Game Pass Ultimate subscription and the Microsoft wallet top-up. Their delivery formats differ, and your choice decides exactly what you get.
Game Pass Ultimate: key or shared account
Game Pass Ultimate combines a games catalogue for Xbox consoles and PC (including PC Game Pass) and EA Play. There are two ways to buy it:
- Activation key — Xbox Game Pass Ultimate — key for 1–13 months: the term is chosen in the options, and the key activates on your Microsoft account that has no active subscription.
- Shared account — Xbox Game Pass Ultimate — 12 months (shared account): this is not a key — you download games from the seller’s shared account and play from your own personal profile.
A key is handier if you want the subscription on your own account; a shared account is an alternative when a key can’t be activated on your profile.
Wallet top-up card
If you need a balance for one-off purchases in the Microsoft Store rather than a subscription, a top-up card fits:
- Xbox top-up card — US region — the code activates on a US-region Microsoft account and tops up the wallet, with instant delivery.
How the account region matters
A top-up card is bound to the Microsoft account’s region (a US card for a US account). A Game Pass key targets an account without an active subscription. Check your profile’s status and region before paying — these are the platform’s own rules.
What to check before paying
- What you need: a subscription (key / shared account) or a balance (top-up card).
- Account status: for a Game Pass key — no active subscription.
- Region: the top-up card must match the account region.
- Buyer reviews on the card — real-world delivery experience.
Bazelio is a storefront: payment is taken by the seller on the payment platform, and the seller handles delivery and support. For refund questions, see Refunds and disputes. Subscriptions live in the Game subscriptions category, and top-up cards in the Xbox cards category.
