Marvel Rivals Version 20261009 balance changes

Bazelio editorial

Marvel Rivals’ Version 20261009 balance post covers Iron Man’s missile tracking, adjustments for Phoenix and Jubilee, and changes across the roster.

Marvel Rivals’ Version 20261009 balance post outlines a new round of hero adjustments. Iron Man’s missile barrage gains a tracking feature, while Phoenix and Jubilee receive notable ability changes. The post also revises damage, health, cooldowns, and Team-Up effects for characters in every role.

Iron Man is one of the larger mechanical revisions. Micro-Missile Barrage projectiles will seek nearby enemies after launch. Each missile is reduced to 10 damage, but projectile speed rises from 15 m/s to 60 m/s, and no more than five missiles can lock onto the same target. During Armor Overdrive, the barrage will also track enemies positioned ahead of Iron Man, with the same five-missile limit and 10 damage per shot.

Roster adjustments in the post

Phoenix receives higher damage on Cosmic Flames and on both the direct and explosive parts of Sparks detonation. Detonating Sparks will no longer restore Phoenix’s health. Instead, it grants 5 Bonus Health for four seconds, stacking up to 25. Her ultimate, Endsong Inferno, now applies two Sparks when its explosion field and shockwave connect with enemies, rather than one.

Jubilee gains a new self-healing effect during Sparking Sprint, restoring 25 health per second. The blind from Dazzling Detonation is shortened from 1.5 seconds to 0.8 seconds. Her Team-Up with Blade adds nearby ally healing during Vampiric Kin: 15 per second for six seconds. Firework Finale’s area healing also rises from 150 to 180 per second.

Other changes affect a broad selection of heroes. Devil Dinosaur’s base health moves down from 850 to 825. Hulk’s Banner form gets a faster Gamma Ray Gun projectile and receives more gamma energy when Gamma Grenade hits Hulk himself. Cyclops’ Optic Blast deals 23 damage per hit instead of 22, while Ruby Rage costs 3400 energy rather than 3700.

Gorr’s Shadow Scythe and Shockwave deal less damage, and Twilight of the Gods lasts 10 seconds instead of 12. Hawkeye’s Piercing Arrow travels faster, and the initial hit area of Hypersonic Arrow becomes wider. Scarlet Witch’s Chthonian Burst area damage per hit falls from 40 to 35. Adam Warlock’s Cosmic Cluster heals more when paired with Ultron, while Gambit receives changes to charge timing and Ragin’ Royal Flush.

What this means if you are planning a purchase

Players who focus on Iron Man, Phoenix, Jubilee, Gorr, or Cyclops may want to review their usual ability sequences in light of these adjustments. Several of the revisions are tied to specific Team-Ups, so the selected team composition can matter as much as the hero itself.
