Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override adds a Roblox-made game

Epic revealed Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override, with Crash, Sonic, Mega Man, Persona 5's Joker and Mortal Kombat fighters — plus a crossover with a Roblox-made game.

Epic Games has released the first trailer for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, titled Override, and the theme is hard to miss: the battle royale is pulling in guest characters from across gaming history. The reveal shows Crash Bandicoot, Sonic the Hedgehog alongside Tails, Joker from Persona 5, Mega Man, and Mortal Kombat’s Kitana and Scorpion, with more collaborations promised beyond what the trailer displays.

One detail has drawn attention outside the usual Fortnite audience: the season also appears to include a crossover with a game built in Roblox. On paper that is just another guest appearance. In context it is more interesting, because Epic boss Tim Sweeney previously described Roblox as a force capable of growing to “eat gaming” — that is, he framed the rival platform as a genuine competitive threat. Now content originating there is heading into Fortnite itself.

What the reveal actually covers

This is a first trailer, not a full patch breakdown. What it establishes is the season’s framing: Override leans on gaming franchises as its central idea, gathering properties from different publishers and different console generations into a single season. Nineties platformer mascots, a modern JRPG cast member and fighting game veterans all share the same reveal.

Treat the trailer roster as a sample rather than a final list. Epic routinely announces additional collaborations after a season goes live, and the reveal does not clarify which characters arrive as item shop outfits, which are tied to the battle pass, and which show up only as smaller cosmetic pieces. The same applies to the Roblox-made game crossover: the trailer does not spell out its scope or format.

Just as important is what has not been announced. There is no pricing information for new bundles, no battle pass contents breakdown, and no unlock conditions for specific skins in this reveal. Those details typically arrive separately and in-game, so official Epic communications remain the reference point.

What it means if you plan to buy in

The practical side of any big Fortnite season is consistent: most new cosmetics run through the in-game currency. Guest franchise outfits usually land in the item shop for V-Bucks, while some rewards come through the battle pass. If you already know you want something from the reveal, it helps to work out how much currency you need before a bundle drops rather than scrambling on release day.

On Bazelio, Fortnite currency top-ups sit in dedicated listings — for example V-Bucks from 800 to 50,000 purchased on your account. Offers differ by amount, platform (Epic, Xbox, PlayStation) and delivery method, so read the seller’s description and confirm the option matches your platform before ordering. Current pricing and terms are always shown in the product card: Bazelio aggregates offers from partner platforms, and the purchase itself is completed with the seller.

If you are also looking beyond Fortnite, the neighbouring sections are a reasonable starting point: in-game currency for other titles and game accounts and services. One more thing worth keeping in mind — demand for top-ups tends to rise around large crossover seasons, so availability and seller terms can shift faster than usual. Comparing offers is easier before a specific bundle is announced than immediately after.
