Cursor AI: the Pro, Pro+ and Ultra plans — what's included and how to buy
Cursor AI is an AI code editor: how the Pro, Pro+ and Ultra plans differ and how the subscription is sold in the catalogue — your account, a ready account or a renewal.
On this page
Cursor is an AI-powered code editor: built on top of VS Code, it wires language models deeply into the editing experience — writing and refactoring code, answering questions about your project and making edits on request. The free plan is limited in how often you can call the models, so for steady work people move to a paid plan — Pro, Pro+ or Ultra. Let’s look at how they differ and the ways the subscription is sold in the catalogue.
How Pro, Pro+ and Ultra differ
All three plans unlock the same editor features — the difference is essentially the volume of model requests and priority.
- Pro — the base paid plan for day-to-day work: far more generous limits than the free tier and access to current models. Usually enough for a single developer.
- Pro+ — a middle step with a higher request allowance, for people who keep hitting the Pro ceiling during heavy sessions.
- Ultra — the top personal plan: a much larger request volume and priority at busy times, aimed at intensive use throughout the day.
If you are still choosing a tool and comparing Cursor with other AI coding assistants, see the overview guide AI tools for programming, which lines up the different editors and assistants side by side.
Purchase formats in the catalogue
The offers set up the subscription for about a one-month term, but the delivery mechanics differ — from activation on your own account to a ready account handed over to you.
Subscription on your own account
Cursor AI — Pro, Teams and Ultra subscription on your account sets up the chosen plan on your existing Cursor account; the specific plan is picked in the card options. Cursor AI Pro — Pro / Pro+ / Ultra subscription for 1 month and Cursor AI — Pro, Pro+ and Ultra subscription (1 month) work in a similar way: the plan is set by an option, and for the second offer the seller’s description states automatic delivery.
A ready or new account
Cursor AI Ultra — personal account for 1 month — per the seller’s description, this is a separate account with the Ultra plan already attached, and the login details are handed to the buyer. Cursor AI — Pro / Pro Plus / Ultra subscription on a new account — the seller registers a new account with the chosen plan and passes it to you. How “activation on your account” differs from a handed-over account is covered in the guide Shared account, personal account or key.
Renewing an existing subscription
Cursor AI Pro — Pro / Ultra subscription renewal on your account — the option for anyone who already had the plan: the subscription is renewed on your current account without setting up a new one.
Account registration only
Cursor AI — account registration and SMS verification (free plan) — this is not a subscription but help creating and SMS-verifying an account on the free plan, for cases where signing up yourself does not go through.

What to check before paying
- The plan in the card option. Pro, Pro+ and Ultra in multi-item cards are different options of the same offer; confirm the choice before paying.
- The delivery mechanic. Setting up on your account, a ready/new account and a renewal are different scenarios; make sure you take the one you need.
- Whether you already need an account. Setting up on your account and a renewal require your own Cursor account.
- Whether login details are handed over. If the seller delivers a ready account, ask whether you can change the security details to your own.
- The warranty and refund terms of the specific offer and the buyer reviews on the card.
Bazelio is a storefront: the seller accepts payment on a payment platform and is responsible for delivery, warranty and support. If something goes wrong, the steps are described on the Refunds and disputes page, and other AI services are gathered in the AI tools category.
