Manus AI: choosing a monthly option by credits
How to match Manus AI tasks to a credit allowance, check usage in the service, and choose an activation format before paying.

Manus AI is best chosen not like an ordinary chat with a fixed number of messages, but as a tool for agent tasks: research, browser work, files, and multi-step actions. Before ordering, it is more useful to define your typical monthly tasks and check the credit allowance than to select the highest option just in case.
The catalog includes Manus AI — a Basic / Plus / Pro subscription for 1 month. Its options currently show monthly allowances from 4,000 to 85,000 credits and two different formats: activation on a personal account or a new account. Those are terms of this particular listing, so before paying select the exact combination of plan and format shown at checkout.
Start with task complexity, not task count
Manus credits are used while a task is actively processed. According to Manus’s official credit guide, consumption is influenced by model tokens, virtual machines, and connected third-party services; the outcome depends on the task’s complexity and duration. A short request should not be budgeted like an agent workflow involving research, several sources, and files.
Write down two or three recurring scenarios before choosing:
- Short research and drafts. A basic option can make sense when you first want to see whether the agent format suits you and expect individual, contained tasks.
- Repeated work processes. Middle options are worth considering when research, summaries, tables, or material preparation recur and need several iterations.
- Demanding or parallel tasks. Higher options can fit if you already know that you will often run long, multi-step processes. They do not promise a fixed number of finished results: actual consumption still depends on the task and tools used.
If you need one specific feature or a single result, check it in Manus’s current interface first. A subscription does not guarantee an unchanged set of models, integrations, or credit costs.
Plan around the monthly credit cycle
Manus’s official documentation says that monthly credits refresh on the subscription billing cycle and unused monthly credits are cleared at the next refresh. This describes Manus’s own rules, not a seller’s order-processing time. If you are considering a larger option, make sure you have recurring work for that allowance in the current cycle.
Do not judge the allowance from one successful first run alone. A task may need clarification, retries, or a different set of tools. Personal account or new account
The two formats on the card solve different needs:
- Activation on a personal account. Consider it if existing projects, task history, and settings in your profile matter. Before paying, confirm with the seller what actions or information the selected option requires.
- New account. It can fit if you are happy to start with a separate profile and that format is explicitly stated at checkout. Do not treat it as an automatic continuation of your existing Manus history.
Do not substitute one format for the other. Subscription management can depend on the platform where you originally subscribed, as Manus’s official plan-change guide explains. The seller’s listing terms and Manus’s service rules are separate parts of the decision, so check both before paying.
Checklist before paying
Check four things:
- Scenarios: which research, automation, or other agent tasks you genuinely expect to run this month.
- Credit allowance: match the selected option to expected complexity and retries, rather than a promised number of outputs.
- Access format: personal or new account — it should match where you want the work to live.
- Current terms: open the card and Manus’s official pages if a particular feature, plan-change route, or credit-refresh rule is important to you.
